For years, Mission Healthcare’s flagship facility in Bellevue was a top pick for long-term, skilled nursing care among referring doctors and hospitals. However, the healthcare needs in our community changed and evolved over the past decade. Younger, healthier people are now electing surgery and other interventions that require short-stay rehab, to recover or learn adaptive skills, before returning home to continue their recovery. We also discovered a great need for this type of specialized care in south King and northern Pierce Counties.

You spoke, we listened.

In 2018, Mission Healthcare changed our focus to serve these needs. We opened a new facility in Renton as well as underwent a major renovation at our facility in Bellevue, Washington, near the Redmond Microsoft campus. At both facilities, we now specialize in comprehensive post-operative care, long-term and respite care, with on-site inpatient and outpatient therapy services. We continue the tradition of exceptional quality and safety, which reflects our enduring commitment to excellence and caring for patients, their families, and our employees, alike.

A Family of Care and a Tradition of Caring

Mission Healthcare is part of the Careage family of care. We are locally owned and operated by Careage, with corporate offices in Gig Harbor, Washington. Our sister communities and organizations are well regarded for their exceptional commitment to compassionate, quality care. Our legacy began with founder Gene Lynn. His vision was to create exceptional senior living communities, as well as offer premier post-acute recovery and rehabilitative care. His dedication continues today, in Careage Home Health, serving King, Pierce, and Thurston counties; Patriots Glen in Bellevue’s Lake Hills neighborhood; Patriots Landing in DuPont, adjacent to Joint Base Lewis-McChord; and The Lakes in Banning, California.
